The Veazy is the most compact portable from Storz & Bickel, the German makers of the Volcano. It uses the same hybrid heating platform as the flagship Venty but fits in a jeans pocket at a much lower price. It is one of the more popular pocket-sized portables, and a good first step into S&B quality.

The Veazy puts pocket size ahead of all-day battery life. It has no screen, so you set precise temperatures through the web app. The compact build and one-button interface keep things simple on daily walks, quick breaks, or sessions between tasks.

The Veazy is 13.4 cm tall, 3.5 cm across, and weighs 134 g. The body is made from PEEK, a medical-grade plastic that resists heat and handles daily carry well. It stays cool to the touch during sessions, so you can pocket it shortly after use.

The USB-C port sits on the side, so the vape stands upright while charging. The filling chamber is ceramic-coated, so heat spreads evenly. There is no glass anywhere in the build.

The Veazy is the first S&B portable that comes in four colours. Colour-matched accessories are sold separately.

That hybrid heating platform comes straight from the flagship Venty. That means hot air flows through the herbs (convection) while the ceramic-coated chamber walls transfer heat directly (conduction). Think of it like cooking with both an oven and a hot pan at the same time.

Behind this hybrid system sits 36 W of heating power. That is enough to bring the Veazy to its target temperature in about 40 seconds and maintain consistent extraction throughout a session.

Your draw speed shifts the balance between the two methods. Slower, longer draws let the chamber walls contribute more conduction heat, while faster draws pull more hot air through the herbs. Both approaches produce even extraction.

The cooling unit sits on top of the vape and forces vapour through multiple internal layers before it reaches the mouthpiece. Those extra layers slow the vapour down, producing cool draws despite the compact size.

Like the body, the cooling unit and mouthpiece are made from medical-grade plastics. The mouthpiece folds out to draw and tucks back in for pocket carry. Airflow is fixed at 10 L/min, giving the draw moderate resistance.

The cooling unit comes apart for cleaning. The mouthpiece also doubles as the tool that unlocks the rotary cap on the filling chamber.

The Veazy offers three temperature tiers on one button. The base defaults to 180 °C, the boost to 195 °C, and the superboost to 210 °C. Each double click of the button steps up to the next tier.

Two LEDs show the status: orange while heating, green when the target temperature is reached. It also vibrates twice when it is ready, so you can feel the cue with the vape still in your pocket.

Lower temperatures around 180 °C preserve lighter flavour compounds and terpenes. Higher temperatures around 210 °C extract more material per draw and give the vapour a stronger character. You can adjust all three tiers to the exact degree through the web app.

The chamber holds about 0.25 g of ground herbs. Partial loads work too. At higher temperatures, enough to cover the bottom is plenty. The ceramic coating helps distribute heat evenly across the load.

One dosing capsule is included in the box. Each capsule holds about 0.15 g and fits every S&B portable and desktop vaporizer. Loading a capsule takes a few seconds: drop it in cap-side up and screw the cooling unit back on.

You can expand your capsule setup with accessories sold separately. A magazine carries eight pre-filled capsules, a capsule caddy holds four and clips to your keys, and the filling kit loads 40 capsules in one sitting.

The Veazy connects to the S&B Web App through Bluetooth at app.storz-bickel.com. No download is needed; it runs in your browser. Most owners open it once to raise the default 180 °C base and set their preferred boost levels. After that they rarely go back.

The most useful setting is Permanent Boost with no timeout, which keeps the vape at your chosen boost level until you turn it off. You can set any temperature between 40 °C and 210 °C. ECO mode caps charging at roughly 90%, which is easier on the cell.

The vape works fully without the app. The button controls power and all three temperature tiers on its own. On iPhone, Safari and Chrome do not support Web Bluetooth; you will need a browser called Bluefy to connect.

The interface is a single orange button with two LED indicators. Here is how a session goes:

1. Load: Unscrew the cooling unit with a quarter turn anticlockwise. Fill the chamber with ground herbs to the rim, or drop in a dosing capsule cap-side up. Screw the cooling unit back on.
2. Heat: Press the button for half a second to turn the vape on. The LEDs glow orange while it heats. They turn green and the vape vibrates twice when the target temperature is reached.
3. Draw: Fold out the mouthpiece and take slow, steady draws. Inhalations of 10 seconds or more tend to extract the most from each load.
4. Boost: Double-click the button to step up to the boost tier, then double-click again for superboost. Each tier adds roughly 15 °C. Without the app's Permanent Boost, the temperature drops back to base after 90 seconds.
5. Finish: Press the button for half a second to turn the vape off, or let it shut down on its own after three minutes. Unscrew the cooling unit and empty the chamber while it is still slightly warm.

The Veazy is a session vaporizer: the chamber walls hold residual heat and continue extracting between draws. Each load is designed to be finished in a single sitting.

The built-in battery delivers 5 to 8 sessions per charge, depending on temperature and draw length. That is enough for a typical day of moderate use. Cold weather can shorten battery life and add slightly to the heat-up time.

A USB-C cable is included, but no wall adapter comes in the box. A standard charger fills the battery in about 60 to 90 minutes. A 45 W fast charger reaches 80% in roughly 40 minutes.

The Veazy does not run while plugged in, so you charge it between sessions. You can add a fast charger to unlock the full charging speed. It also doubles as the wall adapter the box leaves out.

The cooling unit separates into five pieces for a thorough clean. Remove all seal rings first, then soak the parts in isopropyl alcohol for up to 30 minutes. Rinse everything under running water and let it dry fully before reassembling.

Cleaning the chamber is simpler. Wipe it with a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl while the vape is still slightly warm. Brush the screens after each session to keep the airflow open.

The Venty is S&B's flagship portable, with 130 W of heating power versus the Veazy's 36 W. It adds adjustable airflow up to 20 L/min, a full display, and a battery that lasts roughly twice as long.

The Veazy trades that power for pocket size at half the cost. It weighs about half as much (134 g versus 252 g) and fits in pockets the Venty cannot. Both use the same hybrid heating platform and the same dosing capsules.

If airflow control, a display, and all-day battery matter most, the Venty is worth the higher price. If pocket carry and price matter more, the Veazy gives you the same hybrid heating system in a much smaller body.
