The Puffco Proxy Core Kit suits concentrate users who want a portable vape they can carry daily without worrying about breakage. The housing is entirely glass-free, so pockets, bags, and the occasional drop are not a concern.

This vaporizer is also the most affordable entry into the Puffco Proxy platform. You can start with the Core Kit as a standalone portable and later connect the base to glass pipes and bubblers from the Proxy Collection, building your setup over time.

The Puffco Connect app adds custom temperature, session length, and vapour output controls for anyone who likes to fine-tune their sessions. The four built-in presets work well on their own for a simpler approach.

The Proxy Core Kit measures roughly 4.3 × 4.3 × 8 cm, small enough to fit in your palm or slip into a pocket. The cup is anodised aluminium with a silicone foot, and the angled mouthpiece is silicone. The vaporizer is entirely glass-free for daily carry, so it handles drops and pocket life well.

The vapour path flows through the ceramic chamber and silicone mouthpiece, keeping the draw short and direct. The aluminium cup stays cool during use, so you can hold the vape comfortably through multiple sessions.

The Proxy 3D Chamber is a ceramic chamber that heats sides and bottom at once. Traditional chambers heat only from the bottom, which can leave concentrate pooled in the centre and produce uneven vapour. The 3D design surrounds your material with heat from multiple angles, so it melts and vaporises more consistently across the entire surface.

The chamber is taller than a standard Proxy chamber, giving your concentrate more room to move without climbing up the walls. This extra height helps reduce splashback, especially when using terp pearls at higher temperatures.

Three 4 mm ceramic terp pearls come included. Drop one or more into the chamber before your session, and the airflow spins them as you draw. The spinning pearls spread your concentrate across the heated walls, helping it vaporise more evenly.

You can feel a gentle rumble through the mouthpiece when the pearls are active. They work across all four presets and pair especially well with the higher Red (277°C) and White (285°C) settings. Aftermarket pearls between 3 mm and 5 mm also fit.

Four colour-coded presets cover a practical range for concentrates:

• Blue (254°C): Gentle heat that tends to bring out the most flavour.
• Green (266°C): The recommended all-rounder for balanced flavour and vapour.
• Red (277°C): Stronger vapour with good flavour, suited for bigger sessions.
• White (285°C): Maximum vapour output for experienced users or larger loads.

The Puffco Connect app (iOS and Android) connects via Bluetooth and lets you set a custom temperature beyond the four presets. You can also adjust session length and fine-tune vapour density independently of temperature using Vapour Control Mode. The app tracks session counts, controls LED mood lighting, and delivers firmware updates.

The four presets work perfectly without the app, so you never need your phone to use the vaporizer.

The 3D Chamber can produce rich, flavourful vapour across all four presets. Lower temperatures tend to preserve more delicate flavour from your concentrates, while higher settings may generate denser vapour with a more robust character.

The silicone mouthpiece keeps the vapour path short, which means draws can feel slightly warmer than glass Proxy setups. The trade-off is a vape that fits in your pocket and handles everyday use without any fragile parts.

The Proxy Core Kit works as a self-contained portable vaporizer, but the same Proxy base also connects to glass pieces from the Proxy Collection. The Wizard Pipe, Proxy Bub bubbler, and other compatible Proxy Collection glass pieces all work with the same base.

Switching takes about 10 seconds. Remove the Core Cup by pulling down and twisting, then unscrew the 3D Chamber. Peel off the Core Mouthpiece, attach the included Joystick Cap to the chamber, and reinsert the chamber into the base. The base then slides into any compatible glass piece.

This modular approach means one base powers every setup. You can carry the Core Cup daily and switch to a glass pipe or bubbler at home for cooler, water-filtered draws.

The 1680 mAh battery provides up to 15 sessions per charge, though real-world results depend on temperature and session length. Lower settings and shorter cycles can stretch this further, while higher temperatures may bring the count closer to 12.

Charging uses USB-C and takes roughly 2 hours. Triple-clicking the button shows the battery level through the LED: green for full, orange for half, and red for low.

The single button handles all controls: hold for 3 seconds to power on, single-click to cycle presets, and double-click to start heating.

1. Place a small amount of concentrate on the bottom of the 3D Chamber using the loading tool.
2. Optionally drop a terp pearl into the chamber.
3. Close the mouthpiece fully.
4. Hold the button for 3 seconds to power on.
5. Single-click to choose your temperature preset.
6. Double-click to start heating. The LED pulses during warm-up.
7. The vaporizer vibrates twice when it reaches temperature, after about 25 seconds.
8. Inhale gently from the mouthpiece, keeping the vape upright.
9. Each session cycle lasts 40 seconds by default. Double-click during a session to extend it.

Puffco recommends allowing 10 minutes between heat cycles for the best performance.

The Proxy Core Kit stays clean with a quick swab after each session. While the chamber is still warm, wipe the inside with a cotton swab in circular motions. This takes a few seconds and prevents residue from building up.

For deeper cleaning, soak the mouthpiece and terp pearls in 90%+ isopropyl alcohol for about 20 minutes, then let them air dry fully. The aluminium cup should not be soaked in alcohol; spot clean it with a dampened paper towel instead.

The Puffco Proxy includes the same Proxy base but pairs it with a sherlock-style glass pipe. The glass pipe creates a longer vapour path that typically produces cooler draws, and glass tends to deliver the purest flavour. The Proxy suits users who prefer a traditional pipe experience and plan to use their vaporizer mostly at home.

The Proxy Core Kit is entirely glass-free. The anodised aluminium cup and silicone mouthpiece handle drops and daily pocket carry, while both share the same 3D Chamber, battery, app, and Proxy Collection compatibility.
