The dosing capsules are small containers made of food-grade stainless steel. A fine mesh screen sits at each end, and the lid twists shut. A small indent in each lid gives your thumb something to grip, so the capsule twists open easily. Each capsule holds roughly 0.2 g of ground herbs and drops straight into the chamber. Hot air passes through the mesh at both ends and on to the mouthpiece.

You fill all five capsules at home in one go, close the lids and carry a full day of sessions in your pocket. Between uses, take the used capsule out and put the next one in, so there is no grinder to open and no loose herbs to spill. Because the herbs never touch the chamber itself, residue builds up far more slowly and you clean the chamber far less often. Stainless steel takes hundreds of heat cycles without warping. Each capsule washes out with warm water and a brush.

The set also includes a stainless steel storage tube with silicone end caps. It holds all five capsules in place, so nothing rattles around in your pocket or bag. It also seals the smell of the herbs inside, so a full day of prepared doses travels discreetly.
