This stainless steel metal screen sits at the bottom of the XMax V4 Pro's chamber and holds herb particles back from the vapour path. It lifts out with a pick or a toothpick for cleaning, and the scoop edge of the mouthpiece lid presses it back into place.

After many sessions, resin fills the mesh, the draw feels tighter and the taste turns flat. A new screen restores airflow through the load and lets convection work as intended. Stainless steel takes hundreds of heat cycles, so each screen has a long working life before it needs changing.
