The stainless steel balls replace the stock zirconia balls in the Tempest 2 cap. At 5.6 g fill weight, stainless steel is the heaviest ball option and holds heat the longest.

The extra thermal mass means slower heat-up but more sustained extraction over longer draws. Stainless steel suits users who prefer gradual, drawn-out sessions rather than quick, punchy hits. Each set contains enough 3 mm balls to fill one Tempest cap with some extra.
