The ruby balls replace the stock zirconia balls in the Tempest 2 cap. At 2.8 g fill weight and 35 W/m·K thermal conductivity, ruby sits between zirconia and stainless steel for heat retention.
Ruby balls heat up slightly faster than zirconia and tend to produce punchy, flavour-forward hits. Each set contains enough 3 mm balls to fill one Tempest cap with some extra.
