FKM rubber makes up this set of replacement O-rings for the Tempest 2. FKM resists both heat and isopropyl alcohol, so the rings survive a cleaning soak alongside the metal parts.

The rings keep the vapour path sealed, which is what holds airflow consistent from one session to the next. Over time and with repeated cleaning they can stretch or lose elasticity, and a seal ring kit in the drawer means airflow that has turned restricted or uneven takes a minute to put right.

Care is simple: the rings stay dry with no lubricants, and fitting the bowl with a twisting motion is kinder to them than a straight push.
