This is the titanium cooling spiral the Tempest 2 ships with. Of the three lengths available, the Medium unit is the standard because it balances cooling and draw resistance well for most dry-herb sessions.

As a spare, this cooling unit earns its keep in two ways. Resin builds up on the spiral with use, so with a second one the dirty spiral can soak in isopropyl alcohol while the clean one goes straight into the stem, and the session never waits. And if the fitted spiral ever bends or goes missing during cleaning, a spare restores the vape to its standard setup.

Swapping takes seconds and needs no tools: twist the old spiral out of the stem, then twist the replacement in. The Cooling Unit (Low) and Cooling Unit (High) fit the same stem, so a set of spirals turns one stem into three different draws.
