The ball retaining screen holds the zirconia balls (or alternative ball media) inside the Tempest 2 cap. It uses a twist-to-lock mechanism for quick access when swapping balls or cleaning.
The pack contains 3 stainless steel screens. A spare screen is useful if the original becomes bent or warped from regular use.
