The filter kit holds replacement screens for the XLux Roffu's vapour path. One screen sits in the centre of the chamber so hot air passes up through the load, and the path above it catches the fine particles that would otherwise reach the mouthpiece.

Resin settles on these screens over time and slowly closes down a draw that is already narrow by design. A new screen opens the path back up and brings the taste back to where it was when the vape was new. Screens are also the small parts most likely to work loose or go missing during a deep clean, so having replacements to hand means a cleaning session never puts the vape out of action.
