This stainless steel strainer sits in the Wolkenkraft ÄRiS Ultra's vapour path and filters particles at a second point beyond the mouthpiece screen. Fine material that gets past the first screen is caught here, so nothing reaches your lips.

Residue collects on the strainer with use, the same way it does on a screen. A new one brings back the open draw the vaporizer had when it was new, and it lifts out easily during a teardown thanks to the fully accessible air path.
