The cooling unit is the part that sits on top of the Mighty and Mighty+ and cools the vapour on its way to the mouthpiece. Resin builds up inside it with use, which is part of its job, and this replacement returns the airpath to like-new condition.

Many owners keep two or three units in rotation. While one soaks in isopropyl alcohol, another is already fitted, so a deep clean never costs you a session. The more units you own, the longer you can go between cleaning days.
