The cooling unit is the ridged top section of the Crafty+ that sits between the chamber and the mouthpiece. Its internal ridges lengthen the vapour path so the vapour cools down before it reaches your mouth.

Over months of sessions, resin builds up inside the ridges and the plastic slowly wears. A replacement brings back the smooth, cool draw the Crafty+ is known for. Owners with two or three of them rotate: one soaks in isopropyl alcohol while another is fitted, so a clean cooling unit is always on the vape.
