This smoked borosilicate glass tank is the water base of the ENSŌ Shisha and the part the whole unit stands on. Walls are 3.2 mm thick, protective feet keep it steady on any surface, and an internal line shows how far to fill it. Water capacity is around 0.2 L.

The base twists onto the body with a quarter turn, which makes filling and emptying quick between sessions. Water filtration through this tank is what keeps draws cool and smooth even at the top of the temperature dial.

Since the base is exposed, a knock or a drop can crack it and take the ENSŌ out of action. A second tank on the shelf means an accident costs you a few minutes and no more.
